Now That Employees Are Accountable, How Do We Plug Them In?
A Webinar on Employee Accountability with Bruce Finley and Joe Loya

In an hour-long Webinar on Tuesday, June 5, starting at 1 p.m., communication consultants from Mercer Human Resource Consulting will explain how to add value and build connections for employees in today’s accountable workplace. You’ll hear about ways to organize and structure HR program information to facilitate personal responsibility. You’ll review case studies that illustrate how other companies have tackled the plugged-in effort. And you’ll learn how these plugged-in environments are built, including guiding principles to prioritize your steps.

About the Program
Employee accountability, long heralded by HR, is rapidly becoming a reality:

  • More employees at all levels have a portion of their pay “at risk” as part of a pay-for-performance program
  • Retirement benefits have moved from DB to DC, making employees responsible for their retirement and financial future
  • Consumer-directed health plans and wellness programs require employees to become more involved in their healthcare decisions
  • The move to an outsourced, self-service environment by HR frequently leaves employees without anyone to turn to for help or support

As the traditional ties between employer and employee are cut, companies need to build a communication framework that attracts and retains people who are now responsible for their own future.

What can HR and employee communication professionals do? Create a new employee experience — one that plugs in employees to a system of information, tools and action, seamlessly and simply.
