ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Michael Rudnick is an industry pioneer, having developed the first intranet for Xerox in the early 1990’s, long before the term was coined. He has more than 25 years of experience, the past 15 years providing intranet, enterprise and HR portal and eCommunications technology consulting and implementation services to many global enterprises. He has extensive experience in the use of “Web 2.0” technology – social media, blogs, wiki’s, podcasts, etc. to enable collaboration, productivity and communication amongst diverse, global employee populations.
David Berger manages strategic communications for IBM Systems and Technology Group, where he is responsible for new media, site, financial, manager and HR communications. David has been a leader in IBM’s new media strategy, responsible for the initial development of IBM’s blogging guidelines and strategy. He also created an internal streaming video channel, and has evangelized new media to a wide variety of internal and external audiences. In addition to his cross-IBM work on new media, David has served as editor of the IBM Global Services Intranet, led internal communications for IBM’s On Demand Business initiative, and helped write IBM’s 2005 and 2006 Annual Reports.
